Doulas
A Birth Doula is a woman professionally trained in labor support with the experience and skill set to support women and their partners throughout pregnancy, labor and delivery and the early postpartum time. Studies show that women who hire doulas have shorter labors with fewer complications. They have an increased satisfaction in their birth experience and even view their babies more positively.
Photography
In this digital age we often feel the pressure to both have experiences and to capture them; for the ‘gram’, for posterity, and for our own memories. Birth is definitely not a time you want to be worried about your support person pulling double duty as photographer! Hiring a birth photographer means your spouse, doula, nurse, midwife, and whoever else you have present to support you can focus on you, and you can focus on bringing your baby into the world.
Classes
At New Creation we believe that knowledge really is power! We put a strong emphasis on education because we don’t know what we don’t know. Whether it’s labor and delivery, breastfeeding, or how to transition well once you’ve brought baby home, everything is NEW! Our classes help equip you with tools so that no matter what stage you are entering, you can go forth confidently!
Placenta Encapsulation
Placenta encapsulation can be yet another tool in your belt to enter the postpartum time. Many women who have used placenta capsules report: improved mood, increased milk supply, faster recovery, more energy, and an overall balance of hormones.
*Strong empirical research on the benefits of placenta encapsulation is ongoing and have not been evaluated by the FDA.
