What makes our class different?

We view birth from a holistic perspective. In our class you will have the unique experience of learning not only about the physical aspects of birth, but also the mental, emotional and spiritual aspects as well. Our curriculum includes:

  • God's marvelous design of birth

  • Interventions and medical procedures

  • Birth plans

  • Relaxation techniques

  • Caring for the postpartum mother

  • Introduction to breastfeeding

  • Newborn care

Schedule

  • 8 Hour Intensive Class

    Ideal for parents who've never attended a thorough birth class, we spend time on the normal birth process, and how to peacefully respond to the challenges of birth. Our emphasis is relaxation and comfort measures, but we also address postpartum care, breastfeeding, and even new baby care. We want you to leave with your birthing tool bag packed and your heart filled with peace as you look forward to your birth. Here is our upcoming class schedule.

    12 Hour Full Class: $300

    breastfeeding/postpartum Class: $50

  • Private Class

    Perhaps you would prefer to have an educator work with your availability (perfect for tricky schedules or bed rest) and spend some one-on-one time with you. If you aren't able to make it to the group classes, get in touch with us to schedule a private class!

    4-8 hours of instruction tailored to your needs: $400

  • Custom Group Class

    Interested in a group class but don't see anything on our schedule that works for you? Don't worry. You have options!  You may gather 3 or more couples (including yourself), and we will create a class just for you that fits your crew's schedule! Isn't that fun?
